BIOGRAPHY

Arrache-toi un oeil! (*means Snatch one of your eye) are an art duo Emy Rojas and Gaspard Le Quiniou specializing in screen printing, graphic design and illustration. They both live and work in Paris. They both studied at art schools and are fans of music and gigs organizations. (Gaspard started to organize gigs under this name in June 2002). It is with musicians friends at the end of their studies that they discover screen printing, since then they created many gig posters for several bands. Now, they designed artworks for album covers, t-shirts and festivals, but also like to use their skills and creativity in other fields. Since 2012, they have started to work on 3D paper installations that mix their two universe, slightly neo psychedelic and optic art influenced. They have their own silkscreen atelier in Paris (11th district) at 80 rue du Chemin Vert. You are welcome to visit them.

Arrache-toi un oeil! est un duo artistique composé d’Emy Rojas et Gaspard Le Quiniou, spécialisé dans le graphisme, l’illustration et la sérigraphie. Ils vivent et travaillent à Paris. Ils ont tout deux fait des études artistiques et sont de grands amateurs de musique. (Gaspard a commencé à organiser des concerts sous ce nom en juin 2002). C’est grâce à des amis musiciens qu’à la fin de leurs études, ils découvrent la sérigraphie, et commencent à réaliser des affiches de concerts pour différents artistes. Ils créent beaucoup de visuels dans le domaine de la musique (pochettes de disque, design de t-shirt, visuels pour des festivals..) mais aiment aussi étendre leur univers à d’autres domaines. Et depuis 2012, ils ont commencé à travailler à 4 mains sur des installations papier en 3D, mélangeant leurs deux univers d’influence néo psychédélique et art optique. Ils ont un atelier à Paris, au 80 rue du chemin vert, Paris 11ème. N’hésitez pas à venir les visiter.
